Whether you have your own espresso machine or if you are curious about how to make a perfect espresso or work as a barista, then this is the course for you. Through a clear and approachable pedagogy we will give you all the tools you need to make your perfect espresso, with any coffee or equipment.
The class is held at our roastery by Albin Frid, Swedish Brewers Cup champion 2017 and runner up 2018.
We start the course with theory, what distinguishes espresso as a brewing method and what it takes to make a good espresso. After that we continue with a short espresso tasting where we focus on the tastes and flavors of espresso and how we evaluate them. Then, after giving you a clear set of tools to affect the taste of espresso, we move to the machine and learn how to create your perfect espresso. We finish by teaching you how to make the perfect milk for your cappuccinos and lattes.
The Espresso Masterclass is held on Sundays between 3.30pm-6.30pm in our roastery at Magasinsgatan 17A in Gothenburg, with a maximum of four participants per class. With fewer registered participants the course will be rescheduled. The class is held in Swedish.
Class fee is 1200 SEK per person. To book, e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org and include your name, number of participants, e-mail address and phone number. The spots are yours once you have received a confirmation by e-mail.
After the class, you will be given the opportunity to buy coffee to take home with a 20% discount.
